Once we left Wadi Arbeieen (Blog by Meila) we headed for the village of Ghamb. It was a small town with 2 or 3 houses, but the villagers were very welcoming. We left in a rush as we had to quickly get to the ferry which would take us to Masirah Island. After 4 hours of stress, worried that we would miss the ferry, we arrived in a matter of seconds before the ferry left. In about 1 hour, we arrived at this amazing island, Masirah Island. When we got off, both cars drove 20 km out towards this kite-surfing club, their guest-houses were full so we camped right outside. We got to use the bathroom and get drinks though, which was a treat.  We were tired so we went to bed early.

We woke up at 7 am and went for a walk on the beach. When we got back, we sat to have breakfast and then we got ready. We camped there the second night so we left the tents nicely tied down and everything else in the tent. We went for a tour around the north of the island and came back to campgrounds. We had a massive bonfire and went to bed. We woke up the next morning and got ready and packed up. We took off and back to the ferry. We got back to Oman at 6 pm and headed towards Jabal Al Akhdar to camp. The next day we went to Falaj Daris for 1 or 2 hours before heading home.
